What Brain Research can Tell us about Students' Learning
Terrence J. Doyle
This workshop will look at the most current research from biology, neuroscience and cognitive psychology and how it applies to the classroom teaching processes and our students' learning processes. The goal is for participants to learn new ways to assist their students, in not only learning the content and skills of their course, but how to help students to learn in harmony with their brains. Participants will be asked to take an active role in contributing ways in which this research can be applied to our teaching practices.
